JGR Capital: Invested in Shaping a Better Future

We’re passionate about our work in the finance world not just for the thrill of helping early stage public companies realize their potential. We recognize that we also have the opportunity to make a difference in our community.

Behind companies that are innovating to get ahead, are the people and missions dedicated to the betterment of our society, our health, and to lifting up those that need it. We value these people and organizations deeply, and we see it as our duty to support them on their mission.

We have chosen to support the organizations below, because we believe they are making real strides in making a difference – because we believe in investing in a better future.

Wounded Warrior Project

Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) serves veterans and service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound, co-incident to their military service on or after September 11, 2001 and their families. On that date, America watched in horror as approximately 3,000 people died including hundreds of firefighters and rescue workers. Many warriors note a sense of duty to volunteer for the military following these tragic events. Wounded Warrior Project takes a holistic approach when serving warriors and their families to nurture the mind and body, and encourage economic empowerment and engagement. Through a high-touch and interactive approach, WWP hopes to foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation’s history.

Humane Society NY

For over 100 years, the Humane Society of New York has been a presence in New York City, caring for animals in need when illness, injury or homelessness strikes. In 1904 we were founded to protect the city’s horses against abuse. Members fought for laws to punish negligent owners and place watering troughs in streets and parks. As funds allowed the Society expanded to include a free medical clinic and a small adoption center for cats and dogs. Today our hospital and our Vladimir Horowitz and Wanda Toscanini Horowitz Adoption Center help more than 38,000 dogs and cats annually, and their numbers continue to grow.
